Welcome to The Muffin Method Mix Co. ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, products, and services. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

Orders

Orders are accepted subject to product availability and production capacity.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion.

Estimated preparation times are:

• Most freshly baked products: 24 hours' notice

• Variety Boxes: 48 hours' notice

• Gluten-Free products: 48 hours' notice

Orders placed after our daily production cut-off may be scheduled for the next available production day.

Order Changes

Orders may be modified any time before production begins.

As production typically begins around 5:00 PM on the day before pickup or delivery, we cannot guarantee changes requested after that time.

Once production has started, orders cannot be modified.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled any time before production begins.

Once production has started, cancellations are not permitted because ingredients and labour have already been committed to your order.

Pricing

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Prices are subject to change without notice.

Although we strive for accuracy, we reserve the right to correct pricing errors, product descriptions, or other website inaccuracies at any time.

Applicable taxes are calculated during checkout.

Promotions & Coupon Codes

Unless otherwise stated:

• Only one promotional code may be used per order.

• Promotions cannot be combined.

• Coupon codes have no cash value.

• Expired coupon codes cannot be honoured.

• Promotions may be modified or discontinued without notice.

Payment

We currently accept:

• Visa

• Mastercard

• American Express

• Apple Pay

• Google Pay

• PayPal

• Interac e-Transfer

• Cash (Pickup Orders Only)

Cash Payments

Customers wishing to pay with cash must:

• Select the designated payment option during checkout.

• Pay a 50% deposit by Interac e-Transfer to confirm the order.

• Pay the remaining balance in cash upon pickup.

Orders are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

Delivery Orders

Delivery orders must be paid in full prior to delivery.

Cash payment is not available for delivery orders.

Delivery

Local delivery is available within our designated Metro Vancouver delivery zones.

Delivery is completed using Uber Courier.

A minimum order of $30 before taxes and delivery fees is required for delivery.

Delivery fees are calculated separately and do not count toward the minimum order requirement.

Customers are responsible for providing:

• A complete and accurate delivery address

• Any required delivery instructions

• A safe and accessible delivery location

Delivery Times

Our standard delivery windows are:

Monday – Friday
4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Saturday – Sunday
11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Customers may request their preferred delivery window during checkout.

While we make every effort to accommodate requested delivery times, they cannot be guaranteed.

Delivery Responsibility

Unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance, deliveries will be left at the address provided during checkout.

Once a delivery has been successfully completed at the provided address, responsibility for the order transfers to the customer.

The Muffin Method Mix Co. is not responsible for:

• Incorrect delivery addresses supplied by the customer

• Missing or stolen orders after successful delivery

• Weather conditions after delivery

• Delays caused by traffic, road closures, weather, or courier-related issues

• Failed deliveries resulting from inaccurate customer information

Orders affected by these situations are non-refundable.

Pickup

Pickup is available from our North Delta micro-bakery.

Customers will receive pickup instructions after their order has been confirmed.

Orders not collected on the scheduled pickup date will be held for up to three (3) days.

After three days, unclaimed orders will be considered abandoned and may be discarded.

No refunds or replacements will be provided for unclaimed orders.

Product Availability

Because all products are prepared in small batches, availability may vary.

We reserve the right to substitute ingredients when necessary or discontinue products without notice.

If a significant substitution is required, we will contact you whenever reasonably possible.

Product Appearance

Our products are handmade in small batches.

Colours, textures, decorations, toppings, and appearance may vary slightly from photographs shown on our website or social media.

These variations do not affect product quality.

Nutrition Information

Nutrition information provided on our website is based on recipe calculations and is intended as an estimate.

Actual nutritional values may vary slightly due to ingredient brands, natural ingredient variation, preparation methods, and portion sizes.

We make every reasonable effort to provide nutrition information that is as accurate as possible.

Ingredients & Allergens

Ingredient information is provided to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

Our products are prepared in a home kitchen that also handles:

• Wheat

• Milk

• Eggs

• Peanuts

Although we follow careful preparation practices, we cannot guarantee that any product is free from cross-contact with allergens.

Customers with severe food allergies should carefully consider this information before placing an order.

Storage & Freshness

Customers are responsible for properly storing products after pickup or delivery.

Storage recommendations provided on our website or packaging should be followed to maintain freshness and product quality.

Refunds & Returns

Due to the perishable nature of our products:

• All sales are final.

• Returns are not accepted.

• Refunds are not provided once production has begun.

• Refunds are not available for missed pickups or delivery issues resulting from incorrect customer information.

If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We may, at our sole discretion, offer a replacement, store credit, or another appropriate resolution.

Custom Recipe Development

We offer recipe customization and custom recipe development as a separate professional service.

Pricing for recipe development differs from our bakery products.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all recipes, formulations, and related materials created by The Muffin Method Mix Co. remain the intellectual property of The Muffin Method Mix Co.

Intellectual Property

All content displayed on this website is the property of The Muffin Method Mix Co., including but not limited to:

• Logo

• Business name

• Branding

• Product names

• Recipes

• Product descriptions

• Website content

• Product photography

• Graphics

• Marketing materials

• Social media content

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without prior written permission.

Acceptable Website Use

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Changes become effective immediately upon posting on our website.

Continued use of our website after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.
