Refund & Cancellation Policy

At The Muffin Method Mix Co., every order is prepared fresh in small batches specifically for you. Because our products are made to order and are perishable, we have established the following Refund & Cancellation Policy.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled any time before production begins.

Production generally begins around 5:00 PM on the day before your scheduled pickup or delivery, although this may vary depending on our production schedule.

Once production has begun, cancellations are no longer possible.

Order Changes

Need to make a change?

We are happy to accommodate changes whenever possible before production begins.

After production has started, changes to products, quantities, flavours, pickup dates, or delivery details may no longer be possible.

Refund Policy

Due to the perishable nature of our products:

• All sales are final.

• We do not accept returns.

• Refunds are not available once production has begun.

• Refunds are not provided for products that have been picked up or successfully delivered.

Pickup Orders

Customers are responsible for collecting their orders during the agreed pickup time.

Orders not collected on the scheduled pickup date will be held for up to three (3) days.

After three days, unclaimed orders may be discarded.

Unclaimed pickup orders are not eligible for refunds or replacements.

Delivery Orders

Delivery is completed using Uber Courier.

Customers are responsible for providing:

• A complete and accurate delivery address

• Any necessary delivery instructions

• A safe location for delivery

Unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance, deliveries will be left at the address provided during checkout.

Once a delivery has been successfully completed, responsibility for the order transfers to the customer.

Refunds will not be provided for:

• Incorrect delivery addresses supplied by the customer

• Missing or stolen orders after successful delivery

• Failed deliveries resulting from inaccurate customer information

• Delivery delays outside our reasonable control

• Courier-related issues beyond our control

• Weather-related delays or conditions after delivery

Product Quality

We take great pride in producing high-quality bakery products.

If you believe your order contains:

• An incorrect item

• A missing item

• A product quality concern

• Damage that occurred before pickup or delivery

please contact us as soon as possible.

Whenever possible, please include photographs and a description of the issue so we can properly review your concern.

Resolutions

Customer satisfaction is important to us.

If an issue is determined to be the result of an error on our part, we may, at our sole discretion:

• Replace the affected product

• Issue store credit

• Provide a partial or full refund

• Offer another reasonable resolution

Each situation is reviewed individually.

Nutrition & Product Variations

Because our products are handmade in small batches:

• Appearance may vary slightly from product photos.

• Nutrition information is estimated and may vary slightly between batches.

• Minor differences in colour, texture, decoration, or toppings do not qualify for refunds.

We make every reasonable effort to provide accurate nutrition information and consistent product quality.

Allergies

Ingredient and allergen information is provided to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

Our products are prepared in a home kitchen that also handles:

• Wheat

• Milk

• Eggs

• Peanuts

While we take reasonable precautions to minimize cross-contact, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Refunds will not be issued due to allergen concerns where this information has been clearly disclosed.
